Temps are entitled to 28 days holiday pay each year, which includes all statutory Bank Holidays. Holiday pay is paid at 12.07% of a temp’s basic hourly pay rate. Temp’s accrue 0.6 days of holiday per week worked, regardless of the number of hours worked in a week. Holiday pay is paid in arrears, same as with timesheets.
To claim your holiday pay, download a holiday request form from the link below. On this, enter the days you are not going to be working or will be on holiday and then sign the form before returning it to us. If you’re taking annual leave while in a temporary booking, please check that this is convenient with your line manager and inform our temps-online team as soon as you’ve sent through your request form. We may need to book replacement cover for you while you are away.
Please note that you cannot be paid for days that you are working. Holiday pay is only to be paid on days taken as ‘holiday’ or at the end of your assignment, when you aren’t working.
If you leave temps-online, submit your holiday request form along with your final timesheet asking for all outstanding holiday pay to be paid out on your last day.
If you have completed a temporary assignment you can download the request form below and send it back to our temps-online team.
